Sale of Tobacco to Canadian Customers. Prices may be subject to change at any time, and may differ per province.

Customers must ensure that they have selected the correct product per the province that the order will be shipped to. If the wrong product is order to the wrong province (as the prices vary), we will withhold the shipment of the order. If this occurs, the customer will be contacted and asked which of the two options they would prefer:
1) Pay the difference of the error and the order will be shipped.
2) Receive a refund on your order, however a $25 fee will be deducted

We only sell tobacco to Canadian customers. This is because it is a violation of Canadian Federal Law (Tobacco Act) to ship or deliver a retail tobacco product to other countries.

Any of our non-tobacco products can be ordered by a customer from any province in Canada. If your non-tobacco order is being shipped outside of Ontario, we do not collect provincial sales taxes. You are responsible for remitting the appropriate taxes to the province where your order is being shipped.

We are an Ontario company. If your order is being shipped to a province that IS an HST participating province, HST is charged at the rate prescribed by your province (ON 13%, NS 15%, NB 13%, NL 13%). If your province is NOT an HST participating province, only GST (5%) is charged. Tobacco products can be shipped only to an Ontario address - all other products can be shipped to any province in Canada

Important Note: You MUST select (from dropdown menu) the province to which your order will be shipped so that the appropriate price (with or without taxes) will be applied. Any order which is indicated (in dropdown menu) that it will be shipped outside of Ontario, will under no circumstances, be shipped to an Ontario address. Equally, any order indicated to be shipped to an Ontario address, will under no circumstances, be shipped outside of Ontario. If for any reason you selected the incorrect province, you will need to contact Support, have the order refunded, and place a new order with the proper province selected in the dropdown menu.

Who May Purchase
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 19 years to purchase tobacco products in Ontario. We do not sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 19 years. By purchasing tobacco products from us, you are agreeing to abide by this policy and stating that you are 19 years old or older and may indeed legally purchase tobacco products. 
If you purchase tobacco products, your order will be shipped with Your Signature Required. When receiving the package, the purchaser (19 years or older) must sign for the package. Under no circumstances will the package be released if the purchaser is not present to sign for it. 

Anyone under the age of 19 years, attempting to purchase tobacco products will be reported to the authorities. The minor who attempts to purchase tobacco products will also not receive a refund.

Secure Payment 
All shopping cart payments are conducted on secure e-commerce servers. 
All credit card payments and address information are collected on secure servers using a 128 bit SSL Secure Certificate. You will see the lock symbol in your browser on pages that are Secure. We do not store credit card numbers on our system - the card number is only used at the time your transaction is being authorized.

Tobacco Bar ships only to Canadian addresses.

Tobacco products can be shipped ONLY to Canadian address - Non-tobacco products can be shipped to any Canadian.

If shipping to an address, please be certain to enter your Billing Address EXACTLY as it appears on your credit card statement (for verification) including the telephone number that is on file with your card issuer. Then, in the Shipping Address: enter the address you wish to have your order shipped to. We ship products by Canada Post.

If you purchase tobacco products, your order will be shipped with Your Signature Required. When receiving the package, the purchaser (19 years or older) must sign for the package. Under no circumstances will the package be released if the purchaser is not present to sign for it. Your order cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box because an adult signature is required.

Your shipping charge is calculated by entering your postal code. It is based on the area your package is being shipped to.  You will see your shipping cost displayed in your shopping cart. Some more remote areas of Ontario have an additional shipping charge. If this is the case, it will be shown in your shopping cart as Area Surcharge.  Please note that if you order more than one item, your shipping charge remains the same as for one item. By ordering more than one item, you can save substantially on the shipping cost per item. On your order, you may have noticed a charge labeled "Tob Ship Tax". The Ontario Tobacco Tax Act requires the purchaser of a tobacco product to pay tobacco tax on the shipping cost that the purchaser is paying. It is 56.6% of the cost of shipping to the purchaser. You will see this tax shown as "Tob Ship Tax" on your order.

It is not recommended to smoke, as smoking causes cancer within the lungs. By agree to the Terms of Use, you agree to smoke at your own risk knowing the facts of the dangers of smoking.

All totals and taxes will be shown in your shopping cart before you click on checkout. We show you exactly what you will be charged (including shipping and taxes) before you decide to make a purchase. We reserve the rights to change prices without notice.
